Press release: Fire at ChemCon GmbH

A fire broke out in one of the research and development laboratories at ChemCon GmbH in the Freiburg Innovation Center on Wednesday morning. The fire department was automatically alerted by the fire alarm system and the company's own extinguishing system released immediately.

Six employees were examined by rescue services as a precautionary measure, and no injuries were found.

According to the fire department, there is no danger to the environment. There is also no danger to the health of the population in the North Industrial Area.
